Speaking of crossing the picket line, the police union (which is currently picketing), has now come out to say: Cops: We’ll be Dem party poopers

This comes on the heels of Mayor Menino’s saying: Cops could ruin convention

Speaking of the cops and the convention, I’ve heard rumors that a similar thing happened in 86 w/ Dukakis and the DNC convention–is this true? (I ask b/c I was a bit too young then)

In a related story, the DNC Convention is also begining to irk some teenagers, as the convention is apparently leading to the cancellation of drivers license testing

That’s because the state Registry of Motor Vehicles will not be offering any road tests to drivers during the convention and perhaps for the last two weeks in July, meaning teens who had hoped to be behind the wheel by August will be out of luck.

Angry teenagers are definitely not a good thing…
