The Swift boat debate
A lot is being made about the whole Swift Boat Vet Groups ads and there’s a debate around them.
It appears that the Kerry campaign’s response to the allegations being put forth by this group is to smear the messenger. How low are they willing to go?
They’re trying to go after one of the books’authors with lines from postings he made on Free Republic. (The site makes me think of a right-wing-ish version of DU)
I think that rather than these attacks on the person, why not present the facts (and/or evidence) that directly counter the charges being made in the first place? If you have evidence to prove your side of the argument, then just put it up or alternatively shut up and save us from more mudslinging.
