Comments forthcoming

Filed under: Brandeis — Jaws @ 9:31 am

Regarding this week’s “main story” in the Brandeis Newspaper “The Justice” about the Bias and the Peace Studies program—and the charges made by frontpage magazine this summer, I’d like to say the following:

1) I will have more comments forthcoming this afternoon/evening (as time permits) on both pieces.

2) Though an outspoken critic on this blog of the PAX program, I was NOT a source for the Frontpage Mag article, nor did I have any idea that such an article was to be published (by FP Mag).

3) I believe that I recognize some of the quotes and/or possible sources used in the FP Mag article–including some of the quotes. Some of these things I believe were said off the record to individuals at different times, not with the expectation that they’d (ever) be published.

4) I still think that the PAX program is slanted very, very, very far to the left; and many students are “forwarned” by other (older) students not to take the classes should they hold certain political positions (as they’d juts be frustrated the whole time).

5) I will be making more comments on these articles very soon (hopefully later today–time permitting).

I will also be adding in the requisite links to the sources as well.
