Palm Beach County: ‘More Jewish’ than N.Y.
I’ve got to wonder though, how many of the people in this study are “double counted”–that is to say the “snow-birds” who flock to Palm-Beach County during the winter (from NY or elsewhere up North).
And when they refer to Metro-NYC, is NJ included?
And I thought the Jooooooooooooooooos would’ve been behind it all along

Sorry about the lack of blogging today….I was at work late and well, today was a big day for me!
(Besides the fact that today was payday and free breakfast day)
But I don’t wanna jinx anything, so the news will remain under wraps till it’s finalized.
From Drudge this evening:
MOCK HEARINGS HELP MIERS PREPARE FOR GRILLING BY SENATE… DEVELOPING…
So anyone know if Sen. Schumer is planning on holding a round of “mock hearings” again–like he did before (now Chief Justice) Robert’s testimony?
Just thought I’d ask…
True, the Coburn Ammendment failed by a large margin (82-15) in the Senate today…
But interestingly enough, look who voted for it according to RedState.org: Sen Mike Dewine (R-OH)…who is up for Re-election in 2006….
Hmmm……I’ll leave the analysis of this up to the folks at the Right Angle Blog
From a reliable source:
At the UES 7-11: filming for the Apprentice this afternoon;
the girls team was marketing a new 7-11 sandwich
(it was descrbied as two slices of pepperoni pizza on the outside–with sausage and pepperoni inbetween)
In other 7-11 news….the Diet Pepsi slupree seems to be back to normal

I’m shocked….shocked I tell you!

First it was beer pong going “commercial”
Now it’s the “finger football championship”
Dare I ask what’s next?
Professional 4-square? The return of electric football?
Yesterday as I left work our desks were being taken downstairs in the building to our new floor. Get to work this morning, turns out the network connection isn’t working on the new floor…so no internet, no servers, nada. Not good. Nor do the phones work.
Then while our desks were moved downstairs, our files were still upstairs, so up and down we went.
Furthermore, the person who planned out how our office was going to be apparently didn’t do their math right, so we wound up playing “musical desks”…and that was just the start of the day….
The joys of moving…
(I’d comment more and provide more analysis but to avoid any potential conflicts of interest with my job, I won’t say anything)

So we’re moving floors at the office, and they decided to switch the phone lines today to downstairs.
Small problem, is that they cut all the lines in our office area…meaning that the doctors had their lines cut plus all of us Clinical Research Coordinators.
Not a good idea…especially when you aren’t planning on moving people down until at least the next day…
You can only begin to picture the chaos
(as aside: I still love work and my job)

If you’d asked a doctor you woiuld’ve gotten a straight answer–it’s called sleep paralysis
Heck yeah!
FBI puts stop to spam king
Was he also responsible for blog comment spam as well? (Can’t hurt to ask…no?)
Speaking of spam….here’s a site, Spam Stock Tracker, that tracks how much money you would’ve made/lost if you followed the “stock tips” that you receive as spam

They’re now selling specific tables for beer pong? Goodness.
what ever happened to either using the table that you had, or going to a Home Depot like place and buy a nice piece of wood? Then to that add some cheap plastic cups and there you go…no?
Anyone in NYC happen to have any free floor space on which this nice blogger can possibly crash for the night?
Went to the Met yesterday with some friends…
All I can say is: WOW! What an AMAZING museum.
We only went through parts of it, but still it’s an amazing place with a lot of great stuff.
Most of my art museum experiences have come from the Cleveland Museum of Art (which imho is a very good museum itself)–but the Met just wowed me
