NYC History repeats itself?

Filed under: New York City — Jaws @ 10:19 pm

Was the “subway chainsaw slashing” that took place at 3am on July 6/7 at the 110th St/Cathedral Park. Subway Station (one which I’ve frequented often), a repeat of the Kitty Genovese murder syndrome? In which the witnesses/bystanders didn’t do anything in response to the events unfolding before them?

According to the testimony of the victim in the NY Post, that’s indeed the case.

Did anyone do anything? What about the MTA employee(s) who usually sit in their secure booths? There’s already talk of (civil) lawsuits.
