GPS’d strike
In a sign of the slow news cycle here in NYC, the big story has been the so called “Taxi Strike” over the mandatory installation of GPS units in cabs. (Oh no! Everybody panic!0
Granted, it’s only maybe 7,000 out of a total of 44, 000 cabbies striking
Thing is though, that two years ago, the cab drivers union (yes, there are multiple cab drivers unions) agreed to adding GPS systems in exchange for a fair hike!
Hypocrites.
And the lamest argument put forward by the striking cab drivers to date: GPS Targets Muslims
