If so, and you travel, the government may have a record of it.
Aren’t the screeners supposed to be looking for more important things?

“In the Old Days….” one would’ve never expected to find traditional Deli dishes to be revamped and overhauled
to become “gourmet” items like they have been at some NYC eateries.
Personally–these dishes in their natural, old day form, are the way they should be served.
None of these fancy twists, spices or recreations.
What’s the problem with a good cold-cut sandwich (emphasis on pastrami) and a can of Dr. Browns> You
can’t go wrong!
I’ll happily take a bowl of chicken soup out of Grandma’s kitchen in an instant versus the dishes in the article.
Now the real question: What flavor of Dr. Browns to have with it?
The NYPD and the Port Authority had the sense to deny Iran’s loony rambling leader the change to get a photo op at Ground Zero.
However, Columbia University has made the (stupid) move to give the ranting man another forum and microphone.
As if the simple fact that “despot and dictator week: here in NYC wasn’t bad enough (a/k/a UN General Assembly Opening Week).
Last week on Top Chef the contestants were challenged to create a tasty airline meal. (Sounds oxymoronic)
In that spirit–here’s a challenge I’d like to see.
Take the same challenge–but add a degree of difficulty.
Make the chefs create and cook an edible Kosher airline meal. Edibility is the key in this challenge, as most Kosher airline meals, are well, let’s say better suited to be sitting in a (science) laboratory somewhere.
Went out for a short jog this evening after getting home from work.
First run since the injury….and boy did it feel good.
Just thought I’d share
At long last, the Brandeis Police will be armed

Not surprisingly, many young, attractive, female pharmaceutical reps happen to appear on reality TV.
(Link includes pictures).
Based on my limited experience with some pharmacutical reps, they predominantly seem to be female. Note that this is based on a very, very small and limited sample.
On the other hand, it seems like many other Medical vendors, such as Durable Medical Equipment companies, seem to employ males as their sales reps (again, based on a small population sample).
Any ideas for the difference in gender?

The Browns actually won!
Not only did they win, they scored 51 points in one game.
Most Browns fans would’ve been surprised just to see the Browns score a total of 51 points in the first half of the season.
Wow!
Back in Cleveland this evening, having spent the hilliday at Grandma’s place in Youngstown.
As with any Jewish festival, there was an excess of food served. It was all good food mind you.
Now this evening I’m back at my home, home in Cleveland. This whole trip has made me miss the midwest even more than I had before. More ruminating on that later I suppose.
Sounds like the washing machine is done, gotta start another load.
Back to NYC tomorrow
Shanah Tovah u’ Metukah to all!
(A happy, healthy and sweet new year to all)
Going back to Ohio tomorrow, to Grandma’s house for Rosh Hashanah. (Yay Grandma’s House! Yay Grandma’s Cooking!)
Posting will thus be light or non-existant (spotty internet access).
It’s on to the Buckeye State I go–
O-H-
The mystery of the Cleveland Browns continues apace.
After having him start the Season Opener (or at least the first quarter and a half), the Browns have decided to trade QB Charlie Fry and re-sign (cut) QB Ken Dorsey.
In return for Fry, the Browns get a 6th round draft pick (?) and that’s all.
A 6th round pick? What’s the team to do with a 6th round pick?!?!
Suggestion to GM Savage: Get a solid O-line for the QB to work behind. That’s a good start.
Being a Cleveland sports fan is an experience in disappointment and perhaps sadomasochism.
Much is being made about the Nature Neuroscience article that found some differences in brain activity in self identified Conservatives and Liberals
However, the media report isn’t exactly what the study found. See this post at Cognitive Daily which explains the importance of the article.
No, not over Brittany’s appearance at the MTV Video Awards show (do people still watch that? MTV still shows videos?)
Instead, it’s an Ebola Outbreak!
(Everybody panic?)
The Browns….well, they’re the Browns…
As is known….God Hates Cleveland Sports…
(just go there and read on–too many posts to link)
As of the time of this post, the other Cleveland team in season has a magic number of 14….which is double what the Browns scored yesterday…
Asked to comment on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadenjad’s call to wipe Israel off the map, Assad said: “This is freedom of speech. Any person in the world has the right to express himself freely. This is just an expression.”
So says Syrian Dictator Bashaar Assad in an interview with CBS (via Debka) Because after all, Syria is a shining example of countries that allow free speech….
