Some thoughts on today’s experience at Ikea.

First off–what’s their secret to their low prices? Even the food in the restaurant is inexpensive!

Second–my sister almost had a breakdown in the marketplace section (downstairs) trying to find “the perfect decor items”. All the while, all I wanted to do was sigh/groan and get a move on it.

Third–High praise for their customer service. They were able to exchange a part for us that we’d gotten in a previous order (which arrived damaged) right then and there.

Fourth–I still dislike furniture/decor shopping as a whole, but since my sister and I accomplished so much today, it looks like I’m spared going through this again for a while.

Fifth–my favorite part of Ikea is getting to build the furniture when it arrives. That’s the fun part for me (it’s probably a guy thing)
