Less than 100 pages in thus far, but so far so good. Good for me that what I’ve been reading so far shows that I’m on the right track with my diet.

It was fun in one of those wierd juvenile types of ways.

Problem was it was in Times Square. Ugh, how I hate Times Square.

What Would Summer Be Without a Slurpee

Actually PR’d in the gym this morning and wound up breaking that PR on the subsequent set!

Was doing 5×5 dead lifts (following 5×5 squats which is just evil).

My previous best pull was 225. So I went for 245×5. Banged it out. Then still being motivated, went for 255, and knocked out 3 sets of 255×5!

Needless to say I was quite happy with myself for most of the day. Although there was no one at work to share my excitement with. Even the Sister didn’t have a clue when I explained what the highlight of my day was.

Next time the 5×5 appears, I think it’s time to break 255! Hopefully I won’t have this nagging DOMS at the same time either.

Blogging was light because it was both laundry night and food prep night. (The latter because the freeloading sister ate my pre-prepped food).
