Snow
So it’s finally (really) snowed for the first time this year. The local media has been hyping it as some giant storm
Honestly, there was maybe an inch early today and then it started to rain and sleet, but nothing major. Nonetheless, it didn’t prevent some of the co-workers from panicking and the decision was made (by some higher ups) to close work early. What happened to the idea of the tough New Yorker?
Alas, being from Cleveland, where we get plenty of snow…this “storm” is nothing. I stayed behind at work (to get things done) and held down the fort. The commute home was simple–it’s been worse when it rains. The snowfall outside is minimal by Cleveland standards. If only these NYCers knew what lake effect snow was like.
