Excellent Workout today
Today’s workout left my quads sore….and they haven’t felt this good in a while.
Started out with some squatting. Did a large volume to warm-up and then did 4×8@185 (narrow stance). I could have done more reps, but I felt like my arch was beginning to slip and I also wanted to play things conservatively. Then I did a set of 225×4 onto a low box (narrow stance). The reps went flawlessly, it was just the weight felt heavier on the upper body than usual.
These were super-set with neutral grip chins (I only did 5×5 @ bw) but I just flew up with ease.
Needless to say, I was extremely happy with this workout.
(Yeah, I did 3 other lifts but they’re of secondary importance)
